FAQ

When should I book maternity photos?

Most maternity sessions take place between 28 to 34 weeks when your bump is beautifully visible, but you're still comfortable enough to enjoy the experience. I recommend booking early to ensure availability and enough time to plan your session.

What should I wear for my maternity session?

Flowy dresses, neutral tones, and soft textures photograph beautifully for maternity sessions. After booking I can guide you through outfit recommendations to help create a timeless cohesive look that feels natural, flattering, and comfortable.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions are typically held outdoors throughout Washington, usually natural scenery and golden light to create timeless imagery. I'll help select a location that fits the vision and feel you want for your session.

How long does a typical maternity session last?

Most maternity sessions lost around 45 to 90 minutes, depending on the location, lighting and whether family members are included.

What happens if it rains?

Washington weather can be unpredictable, so flexibility is always built into the process. If weather conditions aren't ideal we can reschedule your session for the next available date.

Do you travel for session?

Yes, I photograph sessions throughout all of Lewis County. Travel beyond included areas may require an additional travel fee.

What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?

You are not alone. Most of my clients say this before their session. My approach is relaxed and guided ,focusing on connection and movement so you can enjoy the experience instead of worrying about posing perfectly.

Do you help with posing?

Yes, you do not need to know how to pose. I'll guide you through natural movement and prompts throughout the session so your photos feel authentic, relaxed and connected rather than stiff or overly posed

Can my partner or children be included?

Absolutely. Maternity sessions are about documenting this season of your family's story and partners and children are always welcome to be a part of the experience
