By booking a photography session, purchasing products, or using this website and/or my Pixieset store, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Copyright & Image Usage

All photographs, whether digital or printed, are protected under U.S. copyright law and remain the property of Rugged Roots Photography unless otherwise stated in writing.
Purchasing prints or digital images grants you a personal use license only. This means you may display the work in your home or share online for personal enjoyment (with credit to the photographer), but you may not reproduce, resell, or use the images commercially without written permission.
Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any images from my website, Pixieset galleries, or store is strictly prohibited.

2. Booking & Payment for Photography Services

A signed contract and non-refundable retainer are required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance is due at the time of the session unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Prices are subject to change without notice, but the rate in your signed contract will be honored for booked clients.

3. Ordering & Payment for Prints & Products

Prints, albums, and other products are sold through my Pixieset store and are processed via Pixieset’s secure checkout system.
Full payment is required at the time of order.
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.
Custom or made-to-order products (including photo prints) are non-refundable.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are fulfilled and shipped through Pixieset’s partnered print labs.
Delivery timelines vary based on your location and shipping method. Rugged Roots Photography is not responsible for damages or delays caused by postal carriers, couriers, or customs.

5. Digital Downloads

Digital files purchased or delivered via Pixieset are for personal use only unless otherwise stated in writing.
Due to the nature of digital products, no refunds or exchanges are offered once the files have been sent or downloaded.
Files may not be shared, altered, or resold without prior written consent.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling for Photography Sessions

Session retainers are non-refundable.
If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours notice. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
In the event of illness, severe weather, or other circumstances beyond my control, I reserve the right to reschedule your session.

7. Liability Limitations

While every effort is made to provide high-quality work, Rugged Roots Photography is not liable for circumstances beyond my control, including equipment failure, weather, illness, or postal delays.
In the unlikely event that images are lost, damaged, or otherwise unavailable, my liability is limited to the return of all payments received.

8. Website & Pixieset Store Use

You may not copy, screenshot, download, or use any content from my website or Pixieset galleries without written permission.
Any misuse of my site or store, including hacking, spamming, or distribution of malware, will result in immediate termination of access and may be reported to authorities.

9. Privacy

Personal information collected during bookings, orders, or newsletter sign-ups will be used solely to fulfill your order or communicate with you.
I do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to process payments, ship products, or deliver digital files.

Rugged Roots Photography reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of my website or Pixieset store after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
